Dr. Peter Wayne Publishes New Tai Chi Medical Research Papers
Dr. Peter Wayne, founder and director of the Tree of Life Tai Chi Center, along with his colleagues, have recently published a number of articles related to Tai Chi research.
Two papers published in the Journal of Complementary and Alternative Medicine address conceptual and methodological issues related to Tai Chi research, Tai Chi Theory 1 and Tai Chi Theory 2.
Three additional Tai Chi papers include a systematic review in Preventative Cardiology evaluating Tai Chi for managing hypertension, a summary of studies evaluating Tai Chi exercises for heart failure, and a study characterizing how Tai Chi enhances sleep stability in patients with heart failure.
Additionally, Peter's research has also addressed issues related to placebo effects, electrical properties of acupuncture points, and the potential of acupuncture to manage atrial fibrillation.
Stay tuned, as other publications are forthcoming and will be integrated into the Tree of Life Medical Research page, which is currently being restructured.
